OUR PURPOSE (why we exist):
To Love God and Love our Neighbor

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is similar, namely this, you must love your neighbor as yourself. There are no commandments greater than these. Mark 12: 29-31

Love of God is primary. The love of ourselves and our neighbor flows from our love of God.

Heart: A willful decision and intentional plan to love God and love our neighbor.
Soul: To grow Spiritually in our relationship with God and people.
Mind: To learn all we can about God and become like Jesus in our thinking.
Strength: To serve God and our neighbor with our actions and resources.

OUR MISSION (what we are to do):
To Make Disciples of Jesus

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, while you are going you will make disciples of all people groups, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And you can be certain that I will be with you until I come again." Matthew 28: 18-20

All authority: Jesus has all the authority, and we are his ambassadors, going in His name.
While going, make disciples: Disciples are made where we live, not just in the church. We believe in the ministry of the people of God and the priesthood of believers.
All people groups: We will bring the good news of Christ to every ethnic group, nation, culture and sub-culture through local evangelism, church planting, and missions.
Baptizing: We will lead people to faith in Christ and commitment to Jesus, and a public profession of faith by baptism.
Teaching them to obey: We are to be doers of the Word and not hearers only. Being a disciple means learning all things commanded by Jesus and applying them in our life.

Free Methodist: We are connected with the Free Methodist Church of North America to bring the good news of Christ to all people all over the world. We are a church whose members are seeking to live holy lives that are set apart for God, filled with His Spirit, and growing in the fruit of the Spirit.

Clear Communication: We communicate the message of Jesus Christ with all people and cultures in a method and style that they can understand.

Spiritual Growth: Our objective is to become more and more like Jesus in love, in integrity of character, and in living a healthy lifestyle.

Bible focused: We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We study it and apply it to our lives in order to become all that God created us to be.

Serving others: Our church is here not just to serve people within the church but to serve people in our community.

OUR BELIEFS

We are a protestant church with traditional historic Christian beliefs and trace our roots through John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist church. We believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead to bring forgiveness of our sins, and that we can find forgiveness and meaning in life through a commitment to Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
